Our quilt is thicker than others in the organic market. We make the fabric ourselves. It is an exclusive design of certified organic needle punched batting carefully quilted between 2 layers of our organic cotton damask we use on all our fine organics. This creates an absorbent quilt that is easy to care for. I love it for protecting my bed from dirt and damage since my dogs are always jumping up on it. 
These are not fancy looking but work great!!!
